TRON Foundation has announced that Samsung App Store has added a dedicated section for TRON DApps, featuring applications built on top of the TRON blockchain.

Both Samsung and TRON Foundation has announced a “$100 Billion partnership” last October of 2019, which Samsung integrated TRX into their blockchain and this partnership made it available for Samsung users to experience using TRX in purchasing from the Samsung Blockchain Keystore.

This is a great news for TRX users that use Samsung mobile devices, as they can now download TRON-based Dapps on its Galaxy Store. Notable TRON-based Dapps mentioned to be included are Blockchain Cutie, Meerkat Mining, Timeloop, and Super Player.

The TRON-based Dapps would be available for Samsung users in the United States, Canada, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, and selected countries in Europe. The Samsung Galaxy Store will soon have even more TRON-based apps.

Who is Samsung?

Samsung is a technology giant based in South Korea and they are one of the world’s largest producers of electronic devices. Samsung specializes in the production of a wide variety of consumer and industry electronics, including appliances, digital media devices, semiconductors, memory chips, and integrated systems. It has become one of the most recognizable names in technology

Samsung is widely known for its Galaxy smartphone series which frequently topped annual lists of the best-selling smartphones in the world and they have been also the top-selling global manufacturer of televisions.

They have been one of the top leaders in pushing the boundaries of technology with their electronic devices and they continue collaborate with brands that will help them reach maintain the leaders in the industry.

Would this be TRON Foundation’s year?

TRON Foundation has been primarily focused in terms of developments and partnerships lately. We all know that they have recent strategic partnerships with Bidao, Space M, Metal Pay, and of course our favorite blockchain game Knight Story.

This year also has been challenging for TRON such as the acquisition of Steemit which led to the community creating a new blockchain project called Hive. Despite those challenges, it has been a monthly routine for TRON to attract more blockchain and non-blockchain partners.

Would this be the start of more mobile devices companies to integrate TRX into their ecosystems? We do believe that this would be the start of companies recognizing cryptocurrencies and integrating them into their platform. Samsung and TRON Foundation’s partnership is good news for its users since most blockchain and cryptocurrency apps have been blocked for some time by technology giants.
