LTC on TRON, the newest wrapped token from TRON is now supported by Poloniex.

Poloniex users can use their multi-chain wallet to deposit and withdraw LTC on the Litecoin and TRON blockchain for free directly using their Poloniex Wallet.

Here’s what we know about the LTC on TRON.

What is LTC on TRON?

The LTC on TRON is a type of a wrapped Litecoin token from the TRON blockchain. The TRC20 token based on the TRON which injects the Litecoin value into the TRON network.

Like the previously wrapped tokens such as ETHTRON and BTCTRON, the LTC on TRON can be used to send LTC on the TRON blockchain.

Poloniex users have been always the first customers to have access to the wrapped tokens on TRON, such as the BTCTRON and ETHTRON.

Now, they have the chance to experience LTC on TRON.

Asides from the LTC on TRON, Poloniex also announced that they will be supporting WETH on TRON (Wrapped Ether) on their platform. This would be also similar to the wrapped BTC, ETH and LTC which can be used to send WETH on the TRON blockchain.

What is Poloniex?

Poloniex is one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges that was launched in 2014 and is based out of Wilmington, Delaware, in the United States. It was very previously acquired by Circle, a Goldman-Sachs backed company.

The exchange also provides its customers with a secure trading environment and advanced charts and data analysis tools. The platform enables users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin, Namecoin, Dogecoin, and more.

TRON has been consistently leading when it comes to the wrapped tokens and with LTC on TRON being added to their list, this would be another milestone from TRON starting from the BTCTRON last year.

What other tokens can you imagine being wrapped using TRON? Would LTC/WETH on TRON be the last? Let’s wait for the next following months and see if there will be another wrapped token from TRON that they will be supporting in the near future.
