Score milk Team Member – Calvin
Calvin (who is known as cgj_crypto on twitter) has been involved with the Tron community since late 2017. He has been a strong advocate for the vision of Tron – a decentralized, democratic ecosystem. Calvin is be responsible for sharing important information with the community. The majority of updates and articles go through Calvin.
Tell us how you got involved with Tron?
I became involved with Tron back in December 2017. The long term vision of creating a decentralized, and democratic blockchain was immediately compelling. I continue to believe in the original vision of Tron and believe it to be a highly undervalued asset, as such I continue to accumulate when I can and believe we are on the cusp of something great.
What has been a high point for you?
I really love the Tron community. I feel as though we are a bunch of misfits that have come together for something greater than ourselves. We don’t just believe in a blockchain, we believe in the purpose behind blockchain. I would say that the high point was the Tron main net launch. That initial experience of nearly instantaneous transactions that are essentially free was the culmination of something that previously just wasn’t possible. Once you experience Tron, you don’t go back, that is for sure.
Another high point has been interacting with the community. I have enjoyed chatting (mainly over twitter) and exploring projects that are Tron related.
How did you get involved with Score Milk?
My involvement with Score Milk started with Tron Spark. Back in 2019 I had the opportunity to share some ideas with the Tron Spark team regarding maximizing the effectiveness of SR rewards. Although the ideas did not come to fruition, I continued to follow the team. In the late summer of 2020 I had some ideas I wanted to share with the broader Tron community and Tron Spark allowed me to share my ideas through posting some opinion pieces on tronspark.com. Knowing the Tron Spark team to be a solid group: I joined in on some of the initial community meetings regarding Score Milk and was invited to join the team as a PR representative.
What excites you about Score Milk
I have been impressed with every member on the Score Milk team. It has been said that you cannot just invest in an idea, you must invest in the people behind the idea and I feel like we have hit the Jackpot with the Score Milk team. Beyond that, everything about Score Milk is incredibly compelling. The concept behind Score Milk is certainly convincing but when you go deeper and include the tokenomics on top of what is being built I am convinced we have a winner.
What message would you like to leave with the Tron and Score Milk community?
To the Tron community: Be confident in what you have. Tron is something special. Although it may feel like we are being left behind with many of the market movements, I feel our day will come. The tech and the reliability of Tron is incredible. No other network allows you to move BTC and ETH in mere moments for practically nothing. Focus on the long term. See beyond the day to day. We are building something great.
To the Score Milk Community: Score Milk is building an incredibly solid foundation. The team is methodical, they are thinking about everything. The team is excited about the version 0.5 launch, but that is only the beginning.
