APENFT, the project committed to registering world-class artworks as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the blockchain, and TRON Foundation, a blockchain-based decentralized platform that was founded by Justin Sun, launches APENFT & TRON GameFi Hackathon.

GameFi Hackathon contest invites all the skilled developers around the world to develop any type of GameFi project on the TRON Blockchain and a total prize pool of $500,000 is up for grabs, with individual prizes as high as $200,000.

Interested developers would need to apply on Hackerlink.io and once successful they would be invited by the development team to exchange ideas across the board and open up boundless possibilities.

Developers would have until February 20, 2022, to submit their projects and they would be judged from February 20th up to the 27th.

The entrants would have 60 days to complete their project and any outstanding project that stood out will be receiving APENFT’s generous support in funding and incubation after the Hackathon.

On March 1st, 2022 would be the announcement of the winners, and GameFi Hackathon would be judged by Binance Labs, Kucoin, IVC, Cadenza, and EVG just to name a few.

As mentioned on their website, projects would be judged by the following criteria:

  • The project is innovative enough to break the current rules in one way or another in the GameFi sphere.
  • The project features a diversified P2E (Play to Earn) mechanism to meet GameFi users’ demands.
  • The project is achievable and has a large potential user base.
  • The project is fully completed, presentable, well-organized, and sound in logic.

What is APENFT?
