It’s been a week already since we have posted an article about Poloniex, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges that support BTC on TRON (BTCTRON) and TRON Foundation CEO Justin Sun, recently shared another milestone on the TRON that there are already 3000 BTC on its blockchain.

Let’s get to know more about this recent achievement from the amazing guys at TRON Foundation.
What is BTCTRON?
BTCTRON is a type of wrapped Bitcoin available on the TRON blockchain. BTCTRON can be used to sent Bitcoin on the TRON Blockchain and on Poloniex Exchange, users can be able to redeem BTCTRON 1:1 to the value of Bitcoin (BTC).
Around September Justin Sun mentioned that they are planning to launch a wrapped version of Bitcoin for the TRON blockchain that can be used on its DeFi ecosystem and eventually this turned out to be the BTCTRON.
Yes! Definitely! We will launch $BTC on #TRON very soon! Actually we need the energy from #Bitcoin community! 😍

With the recent announcement of Poloniex on full-support for Bitcoin on TRON (BTCTRON) this marks the start of the wrapped Bitcoin under the TRON blockchain.
How is BTCTRON doing so far?
The BTCTRON is doing great since its launch and currently, they are now hosting 3000 BTC in the form of BTCTRON, the wrapped version of Bitcoin under the TRON blockchain and at the time of Justin Sun’s tweet there are now 838 holders who have performed 8128 transactions using the Bitcoin on TRON.
TRON Foundation has been doing amazing things this year and the future is great for the BTCTRON and for the next following months expect more transactions and holders from BTCTRON. This would definitely the best big thing next to TRON.
