TRON: Announces Partnership with WeFund

TRON, the blockchain-based decentralized platform founded by Justin Sun, has provided support and collaboration to WeFund, a multichain community crowdfunding incubator for blockchain and real-world projects.

WeFund would be able to operate in the TRON blockchain providing crowdsourced launchpad and incubator alternatives for the community. WeFund aims to evolve as a multichain system on the TRON blockchain and would expand its reach to provide a variety of tools for different projects and communities.

As mentioned on the Medium post and what WeFund will be bringing to the TRON blockchain:

  • Incubation service to assist projects and teams in the community
  • As a community and crowdfunding-oriented project, WeFund gives anyone the possibility to invest in early projects
  • Deliver a launchpad for the community with safeguards to minimize risks through WeFund’s smart contract milestone system

The partnership between TRON and WeFund focuses on gaining more users in the highly competitive DApp market and giving more use cases for TRON-based payments such as USDD and TRX using the Tronlink Wallet.

What is WeFund?

WeFund is a crowdfunding incubator and launchpad for blockchains and real-world projects.

They provide incubation and networking support, alongside development and all-around 360° assistance to help projects succeed and they are the first launchpad to implement a milestone funding release system that provides protection to its investors.

What is TRON?

TRON is a blockchain-based decentralized platform founded by the former TRON CEO, Justin Sun in 2017 and it aims to create a free, global digital content entertainment system with distributed storage technology and allows easy and cost-effective sharing of digital content.

It has a native cryptocurrency called Tronix or TRX and the company is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a truly decentralized internet which they have added blockchain support to different fields such as DeFi, NFT, and GameFi.
