Score Milk Recap
This weeks update will look at how far Score Milk has come in the last 12 months. We will revisit some of the successes and challenges and share some exciting news about what we have coming.
What is Score Milk
Score Milk is building a PVP gaming platform where users can monetize their skills and game developers can leverage an existing gaming ecosystem to bring their games to market and start earning immediately.
The Milk Token Release
It was in November of last year when Score Milk released the MILK token. The MILK token is the central token of the Score Milk ecosystem. For every 1000 TRX played on the platform, players will earn 1 MILK token that they can then stake to earn a percentage of the platforms revenue. The MILK token was made available on JustSwap, Tron Trade, and PoloniDex (which is being decommissioned). Since then MILK has also been added to JustMoney.
Invite Only Launch
It was in late March when we launched our Version 0.5 Pre release. The purpose of this release was to go beyond internal testing and to give the platform a real life stress test. Although the testing went well for most participants there were some lessons that we learned. First, we had some users experience some latency issues. Our development team looked deeply into the code to search for the source of the issue. Everything built surrounding the game was rock solid but we found that it was, in fact, the language that the game was written in that was causing the blips. We went back to the drawing board and although we did not wish to delay the official launch we found it pertinent to ensure everything that we do is done in the right way. No shortcuts. So, we chose to rewrite the entire game in a new language – this has been extremely successful.
Development
All the while, as the game was being re-worked, our development team continued to work hard. In fact, our development team has grown since that time and we now stand at between 6-7 full time developers working on Score Milk. Despite not having officially released Version 0.5 yet we are well ahead of schedule on our roadmap. So much so that we are actively working on putting together an updated roadmap.
Beyond Snake
Snake has been a great game to work with to ensure the foundation of Score Milk is built to grow.
We are excited to share that we have two more games in the works. While we cannot share the exact details of what these games are we can tell you that they are action packed and you will have a literal “blast” playing them. These games will be part of the updated roadmap that will be released in Q1 of 2022.
