Zaif, a Japanese centralized cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2016 is listing TRON on January 25th.

They would be the latest Japanese-based exchange to support the TRC20 token.

In three weeks’ time, Zaif users would be able to deposit and withdraw TRX on their accounts, as well as their order book trading services.

On January 26th, TRON would be also available on several trading services of Zaif such as easy trading, automatic trading, and automatic trading ranking trading.

What is Zaif?

Zaif is one of the pioneers when it comes to digital asset exchanges in Japan and it was founded on April 12th, 2016.

The digital asset exchange has been operating in the cryptocurrency market before the country started regulating cryptocurrencies and they were the first licensed cryptocurrency exchange by the Japanese Financial Services Agency (JFSA).

Zaif offers several financial services to its users such as buying and selling cryptocurrencies, trading, and other features.

The cryptocurrency exchange has a limited number of supported coins which include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and TRON to name a few. They also allow deposits and withdrawals of the Japanese Yen.

Asides from its financial services and features, Zaif has its own native token called Zaif Token (ZAIF).

Lastly, they have been one of the popular exchanges in Japan and started to expand their coverage to other countries in Asia.

What is TRON?

TRON is a blockchain-based decentralized platform founded by the former TRON CEO, Justin Sun in 2017 and it aims to create a free, global digital content entertainment system with distributed storage technology that allows easy and cost-effective sharing of digital content.

It has a native cryptocurrency called Tronix or TRX and the company is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a truly decentralized internet they have added blockchain support to different fields such as DeFi, NFT, and GameFi.

TRON and its TRC20 tokens are the authorized digital currency of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

TRON’s presence in Japan has grown through the years and has been supported by multiple popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the country.
