Metal Pay: The partnership in the midst of the pandemic with TRON Foundation

Recently, TRON Foundation was able to collaborate with a new project with Justalk and it seems that Justin Sun and his team don’t stop there. Yesterday, they have partnered with Metal Pay, a blockchain-based payment processing platform that allows users to buy MTL and other cryptocurrencies to use in real-life.

Now, they have added the TRX into their expanding cryptocurrency Marketplace.

What is Metal and Metal Pay?

Metal is a payment application that allows people to make micropayments quickly and cost-effectively. They also have their own proprietary cryptocurrency that they will reward users with when they spend with the wallet.

Metal Pay is the payment processing app from Metal and it allows their users to pay instantly using their cash balance, linked bank accounts, or by sending cryptocurrency. This app was released last September of 2018 and it allows US users in a selected number of states to send and receive money using just the number of the recipient.

In addition, users are rewarded with MTL token, Metal’s own cryptocurrency when sending and receiving, as well as using the app for purchases.

Previously, Metal Pay app allows users to buy and sell 15 different cryptocurrencies in their app:

And now, they have included TRON Foundation’s TRX and users can purchase TRX using fiat currency by debit card or a link bank checking account.

What’s next for TRON and Metal Pay?

The partnership looks bright for the two companies and TRON’s strong presence in the cryptocurrency industry shows how it continuously attracts other companies to collaborate or do partnerships with TRX. This just shows how huge the potential is for TRON to expand more in this industry.
