BTCBOX, one of the established cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan has started handling TRON (TRX) on their trading platform today July 11th.

The Japanese-based exchange that the TRX would be available under their “Easy Trading” feature and users can trade the TRC20 token with a minimum of 10 and up to 20,000 TRX per transaction.
BTCBOX is the latest exchange based in Japan to support TRON (TRX) after OKCoin Japan and DMM Bitcoin just to name a few.
What is BTCBOX?
BTCBOX is a cryptocurrency exchange in Japan that was founded in 2014 and is a member of the Japan Cryptocurrency Business Association (JCBA) which is an association that provides support to banks and other business entities that launch crypto projects in the local market of Japan.

The exchange currently supports a limited number of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Polkadot, and TRON under its “Easy Trading” features where users would be able to exchange their tokens for its fiat currency the Japanese Yen (JPY).
Currently, there is no crypto-to-crypto trading option on BTCBOX and only allows its users to deposit JPY on their accounts to purchase their preferred digital asset on their platform.

It has a native cryptocurrency called Tronix or TRX and the company is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a truly decentralized internet which they have added blockchain support to different fields such as DeFi, NFT, and GameFi.
TRON has been supported by a number of top cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan, and the addition of BTCBOX shows how big the presence of the TRC20 token in the country has already been since digital exchanges listed the TRC20 tokens on their platform.
