Bitso, one of the largest digital exchange platforms based in Latin America, has supported TRX on its trading platform.

Users would now be able to easily purchase or sell TRX on their Bitso app with the TRX/USD trading pair and this can could be the first step for more TRC20 tokens to be supported on the platform in the future.

The LATAM-based digital exchange platform has always been committed to decentralization through decentralized applications (DApps) and the listing of TRX just made it clearer for the community which path they are going.

What is Bitso?

Bitso is a digital asset exchange trading platform that is based in Mexico and was founded in 2014. It is one of the pioneer crypto exchanges that allow customers to trade using the Mexican Peso.

Currently, it supports 34 cryptocurrencies which include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and TRON just to name a few. They have a user-friendly app that standouts against the other digital exchanges in the region which makes it an attractive site platform to trade on.

Bitso primarily offers its financial services to customers based in Mexico and has already expanded its services to users in Brazil and Argentina.

The digital asset exchange provides the lowest fees for its users and maintains a high level of security with its KYC protocols and other security features.

What is TRON?

TRON is a blockchain-based decentralized platform founded by the former TRON CEO, Justin Sun in 2017 and it aims to create a free, global digital content entertainment system with distributed storage technology and allows easy and cost-effective sharing of digital content.

It has a native cryptocurrency called Tronix or TRX and the company is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a truly decentralized internet which they have added blockchain support to different fields such as DeFi, NFT, and GameFi.

Since TRON’s support for the Mexican Peso-Pegged Stablecoin MXN₮, this created opportunities for them to expand in the Latin American region, and now Bitso’s listing for the TRX could be the bridge for more TRC20 tokens to be supported in the region in the next following months.
