Starting June 10th, all TRON MainNet addresses that hold TRC20-BTC, TRC20-ETH, TRC20-TUSD, TRX, BTT and JST will receive APENFT (NFT) airdrops on their wallets and it would be in proportion to the number of their TRON-token holdings on their accounts.

The initial airdrop would start after the snapshot on June 10th and 5% of the total APENFT (NFT) supply will be airdropped to all TRON MainNett addresses as rewards.

The airdropping of APENFT (NFT) would be similar to the other tokens that were airdropped before to TRON-token holders such as the JST and BTT.

What is APENFT?

APENFT, started as JUST NFT Fund and it is the NFTization and transfer of the world’s top artworks into the TRON blockchain.

It is built on the TRON ecosystem and powered by BitTorrent, the world’s largest distributed data storage system.

The sole token issued by the APENFT fund is called NFT and their core members all come from traditional art brands such as Christie’s and Sotheby’s, where they recently acquired their artworks.

All the NFT artworks that APENFT acquire will be made into unique ERC-721/TRC-721 tokens on-chain. The tokens will be stored in the ERC20/TRC20 smart contracts of NFT tokens, and the rights and interests of the underlying artworks belong to NFT holders. Records of the artwork would be permanently stored on the BTFS network (BitTorrent File System).

Previously, APENFT acquired Pablo Piccaso’s “Femme nue couchée au collier (Marie-Thérèse)” for $20 Million from Christie’s auction and an Andy Warhol’s Three Self-Portraits.

They also own an NFT masterpiece from Beeple called “Ocean Front” from a Carbon Drop NFT auction event.

What is NFT?

NFT stands for a non-fungible token (NFT) which is a unit of data on a digital ledger called a blockchain, where each NFT can represent a unique digital item. These digital items can be in a form of digital art, videos, video game skins, digital collections, and other types of digital work.

NFT Industry this year got bigger and a lot of known personalities and brands have shifted their focus to anything NFT-related.
