After every launch of a revolutionary tech, comes the search for that application that will catapult the platform into mainstream stardom. We had the funky Mario Brothers banking for Nintendo. Then came the bad boy Halo putting XBOX on the map. And then for our once beloved Ethereum, CryptoKitties stole the show as they almost crashed their system. Now, was CryptoKitties their big one? There must have been a lot of people playing that game for the entire Ethereum network to go into slowmo. Well, maybe not, it is Ethereum we are talking about.
So has the Tron network found that dapp that will blast it off into outer space? Quite possibly yes! Everywhere I go, all I see is people tipping people who just tipped people. So what is this craze? It’s a dapp known as Seedit.
Seedit takes Telegram and Twitter
Seedit has now been released on both Telegram and Twitter. That’s two of the biggest platforms. And by the looks of it, it is spreading like wildfire. So how exactly are you able to tip crypto currencies on the social media platforms. To be honest, I actually felt a bit dumb asking as I should have known this already. But I didn’t. What can I say, I have been getting the whip from the TronSpark crew. Either way, I swallowed my pride and asked one of our TronSpark supporters, the one that had just tipped me on Telegram. By this time, I had already pressed everything I could have pressed without anything happening. This gentleman, @Blockchainwhale, explained how it functions. It really can’t be any easier. To get a new TRX telegram account, you can simply pm(private message) the bot @GoSeeditBot. Once you send it your first message it will give you your new wallet address and private key.
Then to tip, once you have funds in the account, you reply to the message of the person you want to tip and type in /tip (# of how many you want to send) and then the token name and hit enter. That’s it. Pretty neat huh! Here is a sample screenshot:

Now you can tip all your favorite ballers, your favotire DJs, and your teacher for giving you an A in chemistry. I probably wouldn’t do that though but I am sure someone will.
