We are happy to share the second iteration of the Score Milk Interview Series. As mentioned in last week’s review, while much of crypto is veiled in anonymity and fake profiles, we wanted to do something different. As we move towards launching Score Milk 0.5, we wanted to go a little deeper with the members of our team. Last week we interviewed Jose. Score Milk Team Member – Drew
This week we bring you the interview with Drew Wise. Drew has been involved with Tron since the beginning. On Twitter, you know Drew as a champion for Tron. Tell us how you got involved with Tron?
TRON grabbed my attention right when I got into crypto. I first got involved with TRON right after their September, 2017 ICO. Over the first few months of being part of the TRON community, I established a leadership role by creating a Tron News twitter account. I spent every day spreading awareness of the blockchain and educating users on the mission and vision of TRON. During this time, I formed a relationship with many people in the Tron community and founded Team Tronics alongside other TRON OGs. Team Tronics was one of the first 27 elected Super Representatives where our goal was to build an educated community.
Being within the Tron community for the past several years, what would you say has been a high point for you?
One of my greatest memories was speaking at NiTRON in 2019 alongside other community Super Representatives. This was a high point for my involvement with TRON as it finally brought together many of the people I’ve known for years on crypto twitter. Community is everything and NiTRON brought us all to one place. We shared our passion and vision for what we desired to be the future of a decentralized web and discussed how TRON will make this vision a reality.
How did you get involved with Score Milk?
I’ve known the guys behind Score Milk since the first days of TRON. I could not pass up the opportunity to work on a project alongside them. I believe Score Milk will completely dominate the crypto gaming market.
Why did you choose to join the Score Milk team and what excites you about the Score Milk vision?
The Score Milk vision inspired me because I see Tron’s reputation was initially tarnished by some of the early projects on TRON. TRON featured gambling dapps and other projects with an unsustainable tokenomic structure. The vision of Score Milk is different. I believe competitive gaming on the blockchain with unique tokenomics will be critical for any game in the future. You play and you earn. The platform itself has the potential to produce passive rewards for all those who participate. Whether you’re a gamer, developer, or a milk holder: everyone earns. I believe user acquisition and longevity is built into the platform.
What do you bring to the Score Milk team?
As I’ve been with TRON since the beginning, I’ve built quality relationships within the community. I know the community as well as the TRON blockchain itself. Although, connections and familiarity are not the only things I bring to the Score Milk team. I’ve also worked in the marketing department at Ledger in 2020 just before and during the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. Learning and understanding the entire crypto market is very important when scaling any start-up. Lastly, community building is something I’ve done since I was 17 years old. I will be building the Score Milk social brand using the experience i’ve gained in the last 5 years. I aim to create a close community that is passionate and optimistic about the future vision and mission of Score Milk.
