The Sky People are here, and it seems they are here to stay. No, these are not the sky people that got sent down to earth to determine inhabitability after a nuclear holocaust, who are also known as Skaikru in the hit television show The 100. Instead, these are the guys who got elected to be the leaders, one of the go to guys who will run the show on the Tron platform.

 

As most Tron lovers know, the Tron protocol runs on a delegated proof-of-stake algorithm which is to be operated by 27 Super Representatives. The Super Representatives are elected by the community via their TRX voting rights. All candidates, including the Team at Tron Spark, offer a proposal to the Tron Foundation and to the community. Most candidates offer community rewards, some offer dapp development funding, others offer Tron related meetups, and others offer other services such as authentic digital content. But at the helm of the list, is one of the grand masters of them all. They are the already elected Super Representatives known as Sky People.

 

Sky People Reigns for Tron

So who are these guys that have taken the Tron community by storm? Well, there is a reason why they are so beloved in the Tron community. Sky People is a game development company known for their hit RPG game Final Blade. Is that impressive? Well, in terms of sales, it’s $18 million USD impressive. As Tron is set to be a major player in the gaming industry, with partnerships with Game.com and Bitguild, Sky People looks to secure its space in what will possibly be the best blockchain protocol for game development.

 

The Sky People Difference

Okay, so they have a game that has a decent number when it comes to sales. So do many other game developers. So what’s the deal? I’ll fill you in on the big deal. Sky People is developing the SDK, or software development kit, that will be used on the Tron platform. The SDK will be available via github and can be applied by anyone without restriction. As I have written in other articles regarding decentralized gaming and their respective digital assets, this is a game changer for the industry. And Sky People is putting in the effort to be a part of this evolution.

In order to become a Tron Super Representative, trust and respect has to be garnered from the community. Sky People has done just that. In their Super Representative proposal, they have promised to return 80% of their TRX rewards back to the community. For other Super Representative candidates, especially those trying to provide a service, it becomes quite a challenge to overcome. These smaller outfits will have to go into overdrive to overcome these odds. But, as a Tron Super Representative candidate myself, I have to give credit where credit is due. Sky People, with its previous success, is giving a good chunk back to the same people that got them where they are. Good job guys!
