As Tron gains popularity as being the blockchain center for gaming, more and more developers are taking note that the audience is not on Ethereum but on Tron. Most people who design or develop things usually resort to the popular saying “Build it and they will come”. In the case of Tron, that really does not pertain to the blockchain giant. The people have already come and are eagerly salivating for the developers to meet their demands. And that is what is happening. The developers are realizing that the amount of people on the Tron blockchain dwarfs that of any of Tron’s competitors. So what is the rational thing to do? They are now focusing on building where the demand exists. On Tron!
 

A Game Called Cipher

I recently downloaded a game called Cipher on my Samsung device from the Google Play store. The reason I downloaded it is because I was told that if you beat the game you get to claim rewards in TRX. Can’t beat that! It also happens to be a puzzle type addictive game which tends to be up my alley. So I downloaded the game and gave it a shot. Below is a screenshot of the main page.

 

A Simple Game That Is Far From Simple

So how does the game work? It is really simple! Well, the functionality is simple but beating the game is quite another thing. The objective of the game is to find the duplicate object from within 63 images. At least that is the case in Level 1. As with any game, things will get hard. Spoiler Alert:  Level 3 is upside down. I tried Level 1 several times and it did not go well at first. Those last three seconds with the alarm going off didn’t help my concentration either. But I can see how this game can be addictive to some and frustrating to others. I am one of those who will find myself giving it a shot in spurts until I finally become good at it. I am sure it also helps your recognition skills or some other scientific aspect of the brain. Who knows. One thing is certain, I’ll be able to find Waldo a lot quicker next time.

Game Expectations Moving Forward

I foresee many games joining the Tron platform. The younger generation along with the gamers are here, why wouldn’t the developers come here? That, to me, is just common sense. With big money programs incentivizing development of games on Tron, this developer migration is inevitable. Take Tron Arcade for instance, $100 million dollars is being allocated to entice top notch developers.

 

 

It is just a matter of time before Tron becomes the gaming Behemoth it is destined to be. It will be a fun ride for us Tron supporters!
