JustLend: BTT now available on JustLend

JustLend, the first official decentralized lending platform on the TRON blockchain has officially added BitTorrent’s BTT and it is available to supply and borrow on JustLend.

The JustLend community voted to add BTT as a collateralizable asset on the platform a few weeks ago and the community governs its platform by voting on proposals such as adding both USDC and SUN as collateralizable assets last year.

What is JustLend?

JustLend is a TRON-powered lending and wealth management platform aimed at establishing fund pools whose interest rates are determined by an algorithm based on the supply and demand of TRON.

JustLend devises a unique method to provide comprehensive, easy-to-use and decentralized digital asset financial services where trust is no longer an issue.

The TRON-powered lending platform is one of the three DeFi services developed by the JUST DeFi team, alongside JustSwap and JustBTC.

What is BitTorrent?

BitTorrent is based in San Francisco and was founded on September 22, 2004, by Bram Cohen and Ashwin Navin. It is the largest decentralized P2P communications protocol for distributing data and large files over the Internet.

In 2018, BitTorrent was acquired by TRON Foundation and continued to provide support for their BitTorrent and uTorrent clients.

BTT is the native token of the BitTorrent blockchain and it aims to tokenizing the world’s largest decentralized file sharing protocol.

BTT has been getting a lot of attention after its BTT redenomination plan that was announced last December where it was supported by the top cryptocurrency exchanges in the world such as Binance, Bibox, and Bithumb just to name a few.
